Legolas: your soul lies with mine, Lying in peace: Staring at the stars, Shielding your luminous elven eyes Twinkling brightly in the moonlight.
Why do you sleep with your eyes open? Why is it you can see leagues away? I wish I had eyesight such as yours So I could stare at you, on a dark day,
Legolas GreenLeaf of Mirkwood, You are courteous, gallant and brave, Youre not afraid of the Paths of the Dead, And not just looking for someone to save,
Legolas: watching your long golden hair, Always shining bright in the sun, Running on tirelessly, bow in hand Running from me forever, to some.
Here is a limerick I made up in my spare time, IT IS NOT AN INSULT-
There was once was Legolas, the elf Who did think of a lot of himself, A prince was he once, but he was a right dunce Preened 'imself so much it ruined his health!

There u go!
my acrostic legolas poem-
L egolas, the one who this poem's about E lf, are they all as striking as him? I doubt. G azing, is what all us girls do best O ath, Is what girls do when they join the 'leggy' fest L eader, is the rank that legolas should be A ngel, is the man that we all seem to see S avior, is what he always will be.
Once the ring was cast deep into the fire, Legolas and Gimli made their departure. They were distinguished from the text, But then after that- what happened next?
Well, Legolas went alone to see the sea, But Gimli- he could not be freed easily, So he followed Legolas on his journey, Unmistakably sly- just like Bill Ferny!
At sea, Legolas stll didnt see Gimli, Even those elven eyes that never saw dimly, But as we all know, Gimli is small (And it didnt help because Legolas is tall)
Anyway, one day when Legolas was eating lembas, Gimli was hungry so he made such a fuss! (Forgetting that he was supposed to be hidden) Right in front of where Legolas was bidden!
So Legolas saw Gimli- he was surprised But he wanted to know why Gimli despised To travel without him; wanting to follow And Gimli replied, The other dwarves are so shallow!
So the two were reunited; came together you might say, But how they laughed about it- day after day, From then after, they walked in each others path, And never separated- they were half and half.
One hundred years after, the friendship still strong, Gimlis body soon felt it had lived far too long. Legolas continued to visit his home, Never was Gimli, in his old age, left alone,
And so it was that Gimli passed on, But Legolas remembered how the friendship shone.
