Shain was just starting to seriously mope after 3 days when Kindra came to get her, announcing that she was taking her out to eat to get her mind off Legolas's absents. After seeing her less than enthusiastic response, Kindra decided to take action: "I shall make you a deal then," She said, "you tell me when you need Legolas and Ill boost your connection. I know you will miss him all the time, but he wouldnt wish of you to be so sad"
Taking a deep breath, Shian realized she was right. Being pathetic all the time was not an option. She was a big girl and she could surely live for a week without Legolas by her side. She had his love. And Kindra was here to help her when things got unbearable. Getting up, she squared her shoulders and pinned Kindra with a determined gaze: "Deal! Let us go have dinner."
Shian was surprised when she actually enjoyed the night. Kindra took her all over the palace She got tired late in the afternoon and Kindra grinned when he saw her yawning behind her hand for the umpteenth time.
"Sorry!" she said with a blush. "I didnt sleep much last night."
"So I gathered. Why dont we make it an early night tonight? We have to be up early to retive your dress and meating with Legolas's mother and father tomorrow." Legolas had sent word that he didn't want to wait and he wanted to be wed as soon as posible there for her gown needed to be taken care of. And the meating with the mother and fater was what was triditional befor a bonding
"Oh Kindra, there really is no need for you to come with me you really dont have to go with me. I am sure I will be-"
But she interrupted her. "You dont understand. You might not be in awe of Legolass position, but I sure am. I grew up hearing about him and his family and there is no way I am going to let you out of my sight this weeks. Even if you technically outrank me and can order me away!" She smiled at her embarrassed countenance. " I want to go with you. For Legolas and for me. You are like my sister, you know."
Shian couldnt help but smile at her for saying such sweet things. "Thank you."
Kindra shook her head, thinking that that was such a Shian thing to say.

Shian ran down the palace corridor barefoot to Kindrass room and knocked on the door urgently. She jerked it open seconds later, looking over her shoulder with concern. "What is wrong?"
Now that she was here, Shain wasnt sure what to say. She had an awful feeling about Legolas? Something was happening a large disition was being made and Legolas was apat of it, but she wasnt sure what? "Uhm..."
Kindra pulled her into her room. "Did something happen to you?"
"No, I-I need Legolas," she finally managed. Actually, she had a feeling Legolas needed her, but that was beside the point now. She gripped Kindra's hand fiercely. "Please!"
Shoving the questions she still had to the back of his mind, Kindra decided that she had seen enough of Shain and Legolass connection to put stock in their feelings about each other. She led her to her bed and pushed her down gently. Putting her hand on her forehead, she ordered: "Rest. Ill boost your connection. Then it is up to you two.."

It was strange. He was still lying on his bed with his eyes closed when he abruptly stood in a meadow he has never been, but that felt so familiar. But that only occupied his thoughts for a few seconds, because coming towards him was a vision. Shain seemed to float as she moved and he wanted to drop to his knees in gratitude because he could see her. She was wearing a wispy white dress that billowed around her ankles.
Legolas was staring at her like he couldnt quite believe his eyes and Shain decided to take matters into her own hands. She ran to him, flinging herself in his arms and wrapping her arms around his body. It felt so real, his body was hard and warm against her, like it always was. So she set the final test, she kissed him.
They were coming alive in each others arms and it only took Legolas a few seconds to take charge. He held her to him with one arm, while the other hand curled into her hair and held her still while he plundered her mouth. This was what he wanted with every fiber of his being, to hold Shain and ravish her and make her his. To be in her embrace and in her body. In this he didnt want to be normal.
"Why are we here" Legolas asked as he pulled away "not that I mind your pesents" he said whill kissing her hand
"Whats wrong Legolas I know something is wrong I fell it in my heart" she asked looknig pleaedfuly into his blue eyes that when he looked down at the ground
"Legolas you must tell me" she pleded
"Shain Love, Im sorry. I I must go I am to acamany a hobitt on his quist to be rid of that evil ring " Hearing her shocked gasp, his eyes finally lifted to hers. "Its a crisis. I must go, Im sorry."
Shain could barely get the words past the constriction in her throat. "When?"
His eyes pleaded with her to understand. "two days love."
Shain was suddenly gripped with an unnamed fear that threatened to overpower her. Something was going to happen to Legolas if he left, she just knew it.
"But we'er to be wed...." she tried because so would do any thing to get him to stop from leaving
"And we shall still be.....I have sent some on for you and we are to be wed come morrning" he smiled to her then she stared to fade
"I'll see you soon my love she wishpered as she faded away

"Quickly Kindra we must go" Shain hurried Kindra as the placed all their thing in to the back of the carriage including Legolass traditional white bonding attire and Shain's white gown then quickly speed of to Rivindel were Legolas would be waiting

Shian and Kindra were sitting in the shade of the rocks in an attempt to escape the middayheat watched the horizon shimmering with heat through half-closed lids. If Legolas ever arrives, I am to kissing him till morning to make up for the time missed She felt a burst of happiness from Legolas and hoped Kindra didn't see her blush.
Her body told her he was near before she could see him. She was up and running past a
surprised Kindra in an instant. They nearly ran each other into the ground, but Legolas caught her and swung her up in the air instead. No words were necessary. They loved each other, they were happy they were safe and together, their connection did the rest. Their kiss was filled with all the emotions sweeping through them.

Legolas was holding her so tight, Shian could barely breathe. She ran her hands over his
body, trying to ascertain if he was indeed not harmed. But all she felt under her fingertips
were smooth skin and gloriously firm muscles. Only her perfect Legolas, no worse for
wear.
"Ahem" Kindrass effort to break up the reunion went unnoticed.
Legolas couldnt stop kissing Shian. He had been so afraid for her, afraid that he would
never see her again. It put so much into perspective. How short life could be and how one
should make the most of every moment. He stared at her when he finally lifted his mouth.
Yes, that's what they should do make the most of every moment they have together!
Kindrass voice finally intruded. "We should go and prepare for to ceremony."
Legolas and Shian were still looking at each other intently. The others were starting to
become uncomfortable with the long silence when Shian suddenly nodded at Legolas
before dipping her head and blushing.
Taking a deep breath, Legolas turned to Kindra. "Could you leave us ? We need time
alone."
Kindrass mouth dropped open. Surely Legolas Greenleaf wasn't saying what she thought
he was saying! She turned her eyes to her friend. Shian was clinging to Legolass hand and
staring at the ground. Kindra walked over to Shian determinedly, but she basically had to
tear Shian from Legolass grip. "Im sorry Legolas, but I really must speak to her
When she judged that she had dragged Shian away far enough, she whirled on her. "You
mustn't get distracted by him you have so must to do to prepare so go get into to carriage
Ill tell Legolas that you must go she said then walked off to tell Legolas.

Many bonding ceremonies had been performed in the long life time of the elfs. They were all done to establish units for procreation. The final words always completing the unit. But this time, the bond was already there. The Bonding ceremony only made it official. Everyone could feel their link and its power was awe-inspiring. How is this possible? Many asked it was a simple answer their love made them powerful

Her beauty stole his breath, his heart and his soul. She was a vision in white, her long hair flowing like silk across her shoulders and her eyes shining like the sun.

He was the most magnificent man she has ever seen. Her hero. The white material of his ceremonious dressing falling loosely over his body. His beautiful eyes filled with love for her.
They faced one another, surrounded by a circle created by the linked hands of their friends. Celeborn was conducting the ceremony. No words were spoken. He put a hand on Shain and Legolas each, causing sensations and images to fly through their minds. They were not supposed to touch until the end, but Legolas couldn't stop himself from taking Shains hands. It caused Celeborn to falter for a few seconds, thrown by the strong connection.

They stared in each other's eyes, seeing images of their past together. Memories of shared kisses, shared pain and shared pleasure. Then they saw the promises for the future. Their hopes and dreams. Among them there were light-haired children that made Shain gasp and Legolas grip her fingers more tightly.
Celeborn ended the ceremony by putting his hands on both their heads. Now you are one.
He stepped away, but Legolas and Shain didn't even notice. Legolas raised his hand to press it over her heart and waited while Shain mimicked his gesture. "I shall Always love you Shain."
"And I you. Forever. My Legolas."

Legolas kissed Shains smiling lips softly.

"Are you two going to be even worse now?" But Kindra was smiling when she said it. She went over to hug her prince when he finally let Shain go. "Im so happy for you." She whispered in his ear.
Shain was being surrounded by well wishers, while Legolas still hung onto her one hand. Kindra hugged her tightly and kissed her on top of her head. "Thank you Kindra for being here with me. I love you so very much."

"Come Shain its time for us to go" Legolas said as he took her by the hand and lead her to his horses and helped her to mount then mounting himself and riding away "I want to take you some were that was special to me only I know of this place and now you will" he said as he brought the horse to a stop UN-mounted the helped her down then taking her hand and leading her past a drapery of vines and through a narrow cave the it cam in to a lush opening of greenery There were tiny violets and small duaty-colored roses, and a myriad of still smaller flowers one had to stoop to see. The overall impression was one of pastel pinks and reds and mauves; it was a warm link to the soft pink and mauves and deep dusty green on the large trees and vines that filled the large area. He turned around in a full circle then look into her eyes while taking her hand "this is our place my love if ever you need me come here and speak and I shall hear you, or if ever you fill frightened come hear no one will be able to find you your safe here" he said as he lead her farther in she was speechless it was the most beautiful place she had ever seen as they went deeper they came upon a small waterfall and stream that lead to a small lake. and in a corner there was a small cozy home

Legolas started when he ran his hand down her arm softly. "Are you scared?" Repeating words spoken a long time ago. He was gazing at her anxiously, not knowing how to ease her nervousness.
"Kiss me, Legolas for I fear you absence but you can take that fear from me."
He hugged her to him tenderly, slowly leaning down to touch his mouth to hers. He kissed her gently, running his hands over her face and into her hair. Trying to show her with his actions how precious she was to him.
Shain leant into his welcoming warmth and felt her fears disappear like the morning mist. This was Legolas. Her Legolas. Who loved her. She had nothing to worry about.
Legolas pulled away from her and waited until she opened her eyes slowly. "Why don't you go bathe so as to release your tenches I need to prepare the room to .......make it suitable for a princes" She smiled and nodded and watched him leave.

The afternoon sun was casting long shadows outside when Legolas returned. The water was quiet as he walked back into the opening. Shain had fallen asleep in grass near by draped in a slight green simple gown. Her beauty made him weak. Weak with love. Weak with desire.
He lifted her gently from the grown. She murmured his name and pressed closer to him. The gown left so much of her uncovered that he couldn't help but stare. Her legs were smooth and shapely, dangling over his one arm and doing wicked things to his heart and mind. He managed to get her to bed without his legs giving out. She seemed so tired and vulnerable, it made his heart ache. He quietly underneath the covers. He would wait until she woke he decided to bathe to calm his nerves

Shain came awake when the door opened. She was confused for a moment about how she had gotten to bed, but all thought fled her mind when Legolas appeared in the doorway. He was wearing a pair of velvet pants and nothing else. Shains eyes traveled across him helplessly, eagerly, hungrily. Over the light wet strands of hair falling over his eyes. Over his beloved face. Over the contours of his chest and arms. Traveling lower until she forgot to breathe.
Legolas stopped when he realized she was awake and watching him. His body came to life while her gaze caressed him. It was the most sensual feeling he has ever experienced and he was afraid that he might lose his sanity tonight. Lose it and not be able to leave her.....
He walked to the bed silently and sat down on the edge. Pulling Shain upright, he smiled slightly as she clutched the gown to her chest. She smiled back up at him shyly, trustingly. His heart clenched in sudden fear. How would he leave her after tonight? how would his heart allow that?
Shain saw the flash of fear in his eyes and placed a gentle, warm hand on his chest. She felt the fierce thudding of his heart against her fingertips. For an instant he seemed both humbled and profoundly uneasy. Then he began to shake the intensity of their feelings overwhelming him.
"Shain." Her name was a plea, his voice husky and low.
She watched as his eyes darkened, then blazed with fire. She slowly slid her hand down from his chest to his bare stomach, wrapping her arms around him so she could hear his hear beat.
Legolas reached out and pulled the gown from her fingers slowly. Uncovering her beauty to his thirsty eyes. He let his fingers drift over her collarbone, caressing the smooth soft skin of her shoulder. then leaning into whipper into her ear "tonight we worry not for tonight is for you and I. tonight I shall give you the stars from the havens tonight is for our love and only that." His lips captured hers again. His hands covered her skin. Slowly reclining back.......
Shain clung to him afterwards, thankful for his weight pressing her into the soft bed. She was afraid that her body was going to scatter into little bits. This was where she belonged. In Legolass arms. She knew she would never be able to live without this feeling again.
Legolas finally lifted his head from her shoulder. His breathing still ragged. "I love you"
Shian spoke as she looked into his eyes Cupping his cheek:
"I VE got an arrow here;
